Blount County has one of the best track records in training support!  Utilizing specialist skills (such as those of our strategic partners, University of Tennessee and Pellissippi College) and supported by State incentives and training programs we have significantly aided investing companies in their set up procedures and staff recruitment programs.

Blount County and Tennessee both have programs to train employees to meet the demands of a company moving to the area.  Training incentive programs will help cover the cost of vendor training.  Employers must hire at least 25 new employees to qualify.  Pellissippi State Technical Community College and the University of Tennessee will customize any training program to meet employer needs.
